When moving to Australia, a skills assessment is a crucial step in the professional occupation recognition process. It will decide whether you possess the abilities necessary to practice your profession in Australia.

Here are the first steps you need to follow for skilled visa eligibility assess to your eligibility for a skilled visa according to Australia's leading vocational education and training (VET) skills assessment provider for both migration and national skills recognition, VETASSESS.

STEP 1: Nominate An Occupation.

Find your occupation on the VETASSESS list of qualifications and employment requirements.

STEP 2: Check Your Occupation Description.

View the Professional Occupation List to understand whether your work experience matches the occupation description.

STEP 3: Prepare for Your Application.

This service provides tailored information via a 30-minute phone consultation about the VETASSESS Skills Assessment criteria for professional occupational classifications. We provide separate services for migration agents/lawyers and for applicants.

Document Checking Service
